Peace and Solitude…In the Center of it All!
No matter how you define your dream beach getaway, Five Palms Vacation Rentals provides just what you’re looking for.
Serenity Seekers: Our location right along the twinkling waters of the Intercoastal at the entrance of the North Clearwater Beach residential area is the perfect spot for those dreaming of a little peace and quiet. If your plans involve nothing more than reading a book, sipping drinks by the pool and gazing out at the water, you never have to leave the property!
Beach Worshippers: Not only are you just two blocks from the sugar white sands of what USAToday calls Florida’s Best Beach, your short walk takes you to the less crowded North Beach area, which is also a beautiful stretch of sand for morning or evening walks.
Water sports enthusiasts: Launch your kayak or paddleboard straight from our dock and enjoy the picturesque Intercoastal waterway to your heart’s delight. Make arrangements with our office and dock your boat or Sea-Do right at our place. The boat launch is just blocks away – nothing could be more convenient! There are also plenty of boat and watersport rentals right here on the island, offering scuba, parasailing, deep-sea fishing and more. Let us know what you’re looking for and we’ll get you connected with the best!
Sight Seers: You’ll never run out of things to do in Clearwater Beach. Take in the Clearwater Marine Aquarium – home of Winter the Dolphin of Dolphin Tale fame (seewinter.com), fabulous Pier 60 with its seasonal concerts, outdoor movie nights, and the popular Sunsets at Pier 60 craft market. Or, take a cruise on Captain Memo’s Pirate Ship, the Sea Screamer, or the many other excursion boats, many of which offer sunset dinner cruises.
Shoppers, Foodies and Bar Crawlers: Heaven awaits, as Clearwater Beach offers an endless assortment of bars, restaurants and shops, all within just a short walk from Five Palms. For casual, beachfront dining and gorgeous sunsets, you’ll want to hit Frenchy’s Rockaway or Palm Pavilion. For upscale fare, try the classic Bob Heilman’s Beachcomber right on Mandalay Avenue. Or, for the best brunch in town, it’s Clear Sky and their famous Bloody Mary bar.
Getting Around: Walking will get you pretty much anywhere within Clearwater Beach. But, if your feet need a rest, hop on the Jolley Trolley (clearwaterjolleytrolley.com) which stops right at our front door. For a nominal daily fee, the Trolley willtake you anywhere along Clearwater Beach, to the nearby Publix grocery store or to Downtown Clearwater, where you can enjoy more restaurants, bars, live theatre and the Clearwater Farmers Market which runs from September through May. Another option is www.FloridaFreeRides.com, which provides tip-only rides on open-air, electric vehicles.
