Pier 60’s Sugar Sand Festival

April 10-26th 2020

The seventeen-day festival on Clearwater Beach features the Sugar Sand Walk Exhibit, an artistic walk-through sand sculpture display inside a 21,000 square-foot structure, plus a variety of free activities including sand sculpting clinics, speed sand demonstrations, a children’s play area, fireworks, concerts on the beach, corn hold tournament and extended Sunsets at Pier 60 hours. During the festival the Master Sand Sculpting Competition will begin inside the exhibit tent. Sculptors will spend two days creating a themed masterpiece, giving visitors an opportunity to watch the sculptors at work. The completed works of art will be on display for the duration of the event.

There’s no better way to see Clearwater Beach’s famous white sand in action. Don’t miss out on this year’s exciting theme, “Sea the World, a Journey Around the Globe.” Let the kiddos make their mark in the Giant Sand Box and watch buskers perform tricks unlike any other!
